Geoffrey Carpenter and Jenifer Gadsden Carpenter have been teaching internationally since 1997, Geoff in the field of English and Jennifer in the Visual Arts. Geoff and Jen are invested in using digital portfolios in the classroom and have made portfolios an integral part of their professional learning objectives for the last four years. Having taught in Rio de Janeiro, Taipei, and São Paulo at various grade levels from first to twelfth—including the IB—both bring a broad perspective to the classroom. Geoff completed his MA at Boston College and earned a Ph.D. from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Jennifer earned her MA from Lesley University in Boston. Together, they have presented multiple workshops related to various aspects of Google sites and digital portfolios.
