Student independent learning is important not only as a lifelong skill, but also as a means to support the IB curriculum. That also matches the ability to be an inquirer, as stated in the IB Learner Profile. Google Sites and Docs provide a platform to manage a blended learning environment, supporting student independence in a flipped learning model. This presentation will focus on student independent learning while at the same time discussing corresponding design and management issues.
